I have over 30 years’ experience of transporting small boats using a dedicated trailer and vehicle. These can be monohull sailing boats, yachts, cruisers, power boats, RIBs, or any kind of boat which is:
– under 2.5 tons
– up to 23ft (7m) long
– up to 8ft (2.5m) beam (wide)

My name is John Hamer and I have been moving boats since 1976!
Based in Cardiff, South Wales, I work throughout the UK and Ireland, Scandinavia, and Western Europe.
I used to move both large and small boats as Hamer Boat Transport; now I’m semi-retired I like to keep my hand in because I enjoy it, and I concentrate on small boats. I’ve built up an excellent reputation and much of my work comes to me as a result of word of mouth referrals, and I am proud of that.
